Fitzalbert Marius' Life Story

Dr. Fitzalbert has countless talents. He was a musician, master tailor, sculptor and author, and an Army veteran. His service in WWII led him to medical school after the war. Fitzalbert left Washington D.C. after completing medical school and headed to Fresno for his residency program. There, he served on the team who performed the first open heart surgery in Fresno, CA in 1958. He completed over 11,000 heart surgeries in the years that followed. Fitzalbert was also dedicated to spiritual heart healing through ministry, public speaking, and teaching, in addition to being a physical and medical heart surgeon.
